Argentine born sculptor, Vivianne Duchini has created more than 400 pieces that were exhibited in more than 40 collective and 10 solo exhibitions. She maintains the legacy of the great classic traditions going from Greece to the Renaissance, in the execution of the lost wax bronze casting and chiselling technique, giving her pieces various patinas, sometimes darker, sometimes lighter.
Since 1994 the energy of her sculptures has led her to create monumental pieces that can be seen today in different public spaces and in private collections.
Vivianne Duchini arrived in April 2015 at the Museum of Decorative Arts in order to exhibit her monumental "Pegasus", which marked a milestone in her career.
She continued experimenting with this technique until she reached a more impressionistic finish in her pieces. In May 2017 in New York she presented her new creation at the exhibition “Equus Vitae” and, a year later, she challenged herself with a new animal, a feline, the Puma (mountain cat) where she achieves that completion.
In 2019, she worked on a piece for Óbuda-Békásmegyer, District III of Budapest. This was the result of an international competition organized by the Mayor of Óbuda together with the Argentine Embassy. The pieces submitted were evaluated by a professional jury that chose the equestrian sculpture proposed by Vivianne Duchini.
